The Compliance Business Analyst Supervisor reports to the Manager 2, Regulatory Complnc, Residential Child Care Licensing. Under general supervision this position supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Directs personnel in the performance of audits and analysis of corporate practices in insurance, real estate, securities transactions, and other business to detect and remediate fraud, malfeasance, or licensing issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversees an Residential Child Care Licensing (RCCL) program of regulatory review and enforcement in the area of licensing inspections.
- Supervises operations of field staff.
- Performs quality assurance reviews of surveyor inspections and provides guidance on appropriate actions that should be taken against a facility.
- Participates in the interview process of new hires.
- Conducts training of staff within and outside of the assigned unit.
- Evaluates subordinate staff, including conducting performance reviews, providing guidance and mentorship as needed, and taking disciplinary actions including discharge when applicable.
- Performs inspections and investigations as necessary.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures for assigned area.
- Enforces rules and regulations
- Imposes adverse actions against facilities that have violated rules and regulations when appropriate.
- Testifies in court hearings as needed.
- Monitors effectiveness of the licensing/certification process by reviewing and preparing reports.
- Creates and maintains a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five (5) years of related experience, Two (2) years of which in a supervisory position.
OR
- One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Compliance Business Analyst 3 (RCP032) or position equivalent.
