SiemensLogistics is searching for a Senior Project Manager to support our DFW programs.This position will organizationally report to the Director of OperationsCentral and in the project to the Executive Project Manager.
Summary: This individual participates in thedevelopment and support of the project/program plan with the project teamsincluding activities such as, defining schedule, budget, risk, change,opportunity and resource management activities. Ensures continuous improvement activitiesare created and executed as necessary throughout the project life. Independentlyperforms important areas of standard professional level work that typicallyrequires processing and interrupting, more complex, less clearly definedissues. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems.Supports all Airport Logistic projects to ensure adherence to PM@Siemenspolicies and guidelines.
You will be the interface to our clients andconsultants in all project and site related topics.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Supports the overallmanagement of the contractual relationship, design, manufacturing,subcontractors and installation of baggage handling systems.
- Preempts potential problems and provides effectivesolutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, orprocesses.
- Executes all aspects of change managementsthroughout the course of the projects and reassesses the resource requirements.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge in multipledisciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments.
- Understands airports operations and can speak tohow baggage systems operate to any and all stakeholders – internal corporatemanagement, airlines, general contractors, local government, etc.
- Attendsproject coordination meetings with consultants, general contractors, architectsand clients.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization’s businesspractices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
- Manages the on-site project execution team.
RequiredKnowledge/skill/Education:
- BS Degree in related discipline, or advanceddegree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification may be required in some areas.
- Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge andprinciples of field of specialization and applies through successful completionof assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts,practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
- Experience inmaterial handling systems and technical knowledge in mechanical design orcontrols are preferred.
- Domestic travel up to 20% of the time
- Typically, 10-15 years ofsuccessful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Keyresponsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

- The pay range for this position is $104,400 – $179,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
