Job Description:

  • Ensuring both internal and community Infant Toddler Development Specialists (ITDS) fulfill the DOH Early Steps State Policy’s requirements for certification hours. Assist with onboarding of contracted providers in steps required to become credentialed with all Managed care plans and private insurers in Region 3. Support the FL-EPIC initiative in a quality assurance capacity to track and monitor provider fidelity. Partner with the FL-EPIC Lead Implementation Coach (LIC) to maintain records related to provider eligibility for the FL-EPIC Fidelity fee. Support Internal and External providers who are newly on-boarded complete professional development tasks and view baseline videos for data tracking and to gauge their FLEPIC ESPD preparedness. Support submitting annual coaching videos for review by contracted early intervention providers who achieved FL-EPIC fidelity.
  • Monitor and track professional development needs for internal and external providers. Responsible for the submission of contract-required monthly deliverables. Maintain compliance with all quality assurance and improvement processes and procedures. Conducting yearly internal and external quality checks. Monitor and coordinate quality improvement plan actions and responses to ensure quality standards align with DOH ESSO Policies.
  • Assigns and oversees mentors to newly contracted providers as necessary. Attend Community Agency FL-EPIC Lead Meetings to ensure continued professional growth and skills support this learning community.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$40,000-$50,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience providing early intervention services to families and children birth to age 3 in natural
environments
• Experience working with adult learners
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated strength in organization and timeliness in meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
PowerPoint, Zoom)
• Familiarity with technology and technology applications
• Ability to function under pressure in a fast-paced human service environment
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate, routines-based, and evidence-informed early intervention
practices
• Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating professional development
• Experience coaching, consulting, or mentoring practitioners or families
• Experience collecting and analyzing professional development implementation and family and child
outcome data
