JOB SUMMARY
Supervises and supports management and staff responsible for the implementation, configuration, and operation of the Company’s IT infrastructure and applications. This is a customer-facing role with regular interactions with various client team members for data management services offered within the Deployment Solutions department of Syneos Health. The candidate will be the technical contact responsible for the management of account projects that include collecting, processing, analyzing, and loading of data and information regarding sales performance, operational effectiveness, and market position. Candidate should be comfortable working in an environment that is driven by process governance to ensure consistency and efficiency across client implementations and ongoing production control activities. Works closely with internal teams including Project Management, Incentive Compensation, Analytics & Reporting, and Client Services to determine project scope and data expectations to ensure the success of ongoing data exchange processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works independently performing initial data loads and ongoing data updates into CRM application and creates ad-hoc extracts/reports and troubleshoot issues at the request of clients and sales management.
  • Works very closely with the client, Sales Analytics, and Syneos Data Management team to ensure CRM data is ready for field launch.
  • Provides level III support to field users.
  • Performs quality control functions on all deliverables including standard deliverables, ad hoc data loading, and extraction projects.
  • Develops and maintains project documentation including work instructions for all repeatable tasks.
  • Provides feedback in design of new integration initiatives.
  • Meets with Sales Management and Clients to establish, monitor and review deliverables.
  • Oversees data tasks performed by junior team members and provides guidance and support where necessary.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $85,500.00 to $175,700.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: bachelor’s degree or graduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in working with data management teams supporting Pharma field operations is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in data-centric implementations such as SFA/CRM and Business Intelligence Tools
  • 5+ years of experience with data warehouse, Master Data Management (MDM), and data integration initiatives
  • Strong experience reading and writing queries in SQL Server or Azure SQL database is required.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in a production environment for multiple clients in a compliance industry.
  • Experience leading a small team of Data Analysts onsite/offshore is highly desired.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com/Veeva or a similar CRM system
  • Prior experience with Veeva Network
  • Experience with Python scripting
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and Life sciences implementations and awareness of commonly used data sources for Customer Master and Sales information
  • Experience with Cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure Synapse, Databricks, AWS Redshift or Snowflake is desired.
