30% Talent Acquisition Support
- Conduct onboarding meetings with new hires throughout the first 6 months of employment. Capture feedback on individual progress, facilitate early intervention where needed, provide input and partnership with hiring manager. Coordinate Welcome meetings for new hires in Orchard Park.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to leverage social media platforms and community initiatives to attract a diverse candidate pool for Talent Acquisition.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team for all Affirmative Action compliance including education, outreach, recordkeeping, annual plan execution, and development of goals and objectives for the upcoming year.
- Complete annual EEO & VETS100A Reporting.
- Provide support for annual common review process.
25% Employee Engagement Programs
- Support and assist in the facilitation of employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, stay interviews, and periodic Employee Involvement Committee meetings to keep a pulse on employee engagement. Aggregate results and trends to make recommendations to HR Directors for areas of focus for the company.
- Support and lead planning efforts for Employee Recognition, Summer Picnic, and periodic employee engagement activity committees. Manage project timelines and deliverables, with a focus on inclusion and alignment with our company culture.
- Values in Action Program Administrator – review all nominations submitted through our peer to peer employee recognition program in alignment with our program guidelines. Once approved, coordinate presentation of award with appropriate parties and create internal communications. Promote program engagement throughout the company.
25% Communications
- Lead project manager for CurbLife. Partner with CurbLife sponsors in Medical and Plastics to ensure a positive user experience, sense of community, best in class appearance, and continuous update of content. Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the platform as well as end user utilization. Prepare quarterly metrics and reporting.
- Lead project manager for Curbell.com. Lead quarterly discussions with team members to ensure a best in class website look and feel for end users. Identify continuous improvement opportunities for consideration. Prepare quarterly metrics and reporting.
- Lead project manager for Corporate LinkedIn and Instagram. Partner with Plastics and Medical Marketing to ensure consistency in messaging. Ensure a positive user experience, sense of community, best in class appearance, and continuous update of content including job postings. Identify continuous improvement opportunities for consideration. Build strong follow through content and campaigns.
- Develop internal content for CurbLife, company emails and other communication channels to support HR programs and initiatives.
20% Corporate Giving/PR/Branding
- Coordinate, support, and promote a unified message for all Corporate Giving, PR, Brand, and Community initiatives.
- Foster partnerships with community organizations such as United Way and Leadership Buffalo and coordinate company participation in community involvement events, if applicable.
- Promote participation in Corporate Giving/community involvement initiatives through company communications (ex. our Charity Jeans Day program).
- Act as the main point of contact for external publications that promote the company’s Corporate brand (ex. Business First).

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field.
Experience
2+ years’ experience with digital communication platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively convey information and messages to different audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining positive relationships.
Ability to think critically analyze situations and develop strategic communications plans to achieve organizational goals.
Knowledge of branding and messaging: understanding branding principles and being able to develop consistent messaging across different communication channels.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
