Job Responsibilities
This position reports to the Communications Department in Columbia. The Presentation and Graphic Designer will utilize their expertise in PowerPoint to design visually appealing and professional presentations that align with the agency’s brand guidelines, as well as supporting the Communications Department in developing digital graphic design content.
The role requires an individual to have exceptional PowerPoint skills that enables them to create engaging slide layouts, incorporate high-quality images and graphics, and use animations, transitions, and multimedia elements. This role will work with various departments and subject matter experts to gather content and transform complex information into concise and compelling slides. They will ensure consistent formatting throughout presentations, paying close attention to font styles, sizes, and alignment. They will proofread and edit slides for spelling, grammar, and accuracy, ensuring that all content is error-free.
The Presentation and Graphic Designer of the agency will support Communications with graphic design production and communication projects that define and explain the services, programs, and responsibilities of DEW and its customers.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint is required with a deep understanding of its features, functions, and shortcuts.
- Strong design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics, with the ability to create visually appealing presentations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in presentations.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with image editing software.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications is preferred but optional. The individual should possess strong, professional communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal), excellent computer literacy, strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and deadlines, and the ability and flexibility to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
