Description
The Delivery Order Taker (DOT) ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to Havana Central standards. The DOT is responsible for taking the guest food and/or beverage order, suggesting menu items, ringing in orders, verifying delivery information and processing payments. Other duties include assigning orders to delivery personnel, restocking delivery station and maintaining a clean work space.
Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience in a delivery order taker position preferred.
- Must be 18
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
- Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Continuous use of hands and arms as well as bending, reaching and twisting.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
