Senior Product Marketing Manager, Amazon S3, AWS Storage

Do you have a passion for product marketing and are you an ambitious, self-starter with deep knowledge of the cloud storage market? The AWS Cloud Storage Product Marketing team is looking for product marketing lead to drive Amazon S3 marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and content generation across builder and buyer personas. In this role, you will start backwards from the customer to develop compelling, strategic narratives to increase awareness and adoption of Amazon S3, the first and largest cloud storage service.

You will build messaging narratives and create content that excites customers across the buyer’s journey. You will position Amazon S3 to drive clarity for buyers and sellers for a wide variety of use cases. You’ll work closely with product management, worldwide sales, and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right message out to the market and drive product launches. You will get to work on the world’s largest cloud storage business and have a big impact every day by writing messaging that leads to increased customer engagement and service adoption.

You will have proven product marketing experience at a storage vendor, public cloud or SaaS company, or across early- and mid-stage tech businesses.

A day in the life

The product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that will help customers do more with their data on S3. We all have a bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, print collateral, sales enablement tools, etc.). We look for ways to measure the impact of our work on service adoptions. We transition from working on strategic plans or creative ideation to detailed execution, multiple times per day.

We all work together and pick each other up when workloads shift. This helps us manage workloads and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. We enjoy supporting a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
