Lewiston-Porter is seeking a long-term substitute Elementary Art Teacher. Immediate position, duration of assignment to be determined.
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible to the Principal for the effective teaching of subjects (Art) or grades (K-2), as qualified and appointed to teach, as well as to be responsible for the safety and welfare of all students. Must also adapt and implement a program of studies suitable to the needs of the students and consistent with philosophy and objectives of the school.

Long-term substitute teachers are paid $140.00 per day for the first forty days. After forty days, salary is based on contractual step, commensurate with experience and degree, per current LPUT Collective Bargaining Agreement salary schedule, and retro to day one of appointment.
