Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Content Strategist to join our dynamic E-Commerce team. As a Senior Content Strategist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives. Your expertise in content creation, distribution, and optimization will contribute to the overall success of our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, an excellent communicator, and possesses a deep understanding of various content channels and their respective audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to develop comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Content planning and research: Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and industry best practices. Use these insights to create data-driven content plans and editorial calendars that drive engagement and conversion.
- Content creation and management: Oversee the creation, production, and publication of high-quality content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and video.
- Content optimization: Implement SEO strategies to maximize content visibility and organic traffic. Continuously monitor content performance, conduct A/B testing, and make data-driven optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Audience targeting: Identify target audience segments and develop personalized content strategies to effectively engage and nurture leads throughout the buyer’s journey. Ensure content is tailored to specific audience needs and preferences.
- Content distribution and promotion: Develop and execute distribution plans to ensure content reaches the intended audience through various channels, such as social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and content syndication.
- Brand consistency and messaging: Ensure content aligns with the brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines. Maintain consistency across all content touchpoints and ensure they reflect the brand’s values, vision, and identity.
- Content performance analysis: Track and analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, conversion rates, and ROI. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Industry thought leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing. Share knowledge and insights with the team, contributing to the overall growth and innovation of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful content campaigns and initiatives.
- Deep understanding of content marketing principles, including audience targeting, buyer personas, content formats, and distribution channels.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of design principles and experience working with design teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with emerging content trends and technologies, such as interactive content, AI-generated content, or voice search optimization.

Range: $81,600 to $102,000
Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
You will be eligible for health and welfare benefits (provided you meet the minimum work requirement of 20 hours/week).
