Position Description:
As a Director Delivery specializing in AI/ML, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects and solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that AI/ML solutions are developed, deployed, and maintained effectively, meeting business objectives and customer requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of AI/ML initiatives. Your role involves delivery management, strategic planning, resource allocation, and fostering collaboration to drive innovation in AI/ML technology.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and manage AI/ML products / projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their AI/ML needs, define product / project requirements, and ensure alignment with BU objectives.
• Identify potential product /project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them, ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML solutions.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI/ML models and solutions through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Responsible to manage/oversee multiple scrum teams under product delivery as well as managing client engagement deliveries in parallel.
• Responsible to groom junior members from various remote locations, cross train team and strive for month over month improvements on resource coverage and skillset.
• Should be able to work on onsite/offshore model and get majority of the work being done from offshore delivery centers.
• Candidate may need to face clients to lead on new initiates or support pre sales activities time to time.
• Manage product / project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to Vice President.
• Monitor the performance of deployed AI/ML models, implement improvements, and optimize models for better accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain product/ project documentation, including plans, status reports, and performance metrics. Communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to AI/ML teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in AI/ML, and apply this to improve product / project delivery.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 12 to 15 years of experience in Delivery / Program management, with a focus on AI/ML products /projects.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and technologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of data preparation, data engineering, and machine learning model development processes.
• Experience with AI/ML development tools and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms specific to Azure or AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, etc.). A Master’s degree is often preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $146,100 – $223,000.
