We are looking for a Sr. Manager, UX Design – Remote, USA to join Nutrien’s Digital team. Designers partner with a cross-functional team to provide innovative products to our customers and we are looking for someone to lead the vision, execution, and partnership of this team across a broad range of technology products that serve our customers and our field network.
What you will do:
- Apply, Lead, Coach knowledge of usability, user interface design, and product design to create intuitive user experiences across the product development lifecycle
- Create a vision that allows design team to create concepts and prototypes for usability testing across a broad system of tools and products
- Develop and manage the design process timelines alongside the product management and development teams
- Conduct usability tests, communicate results, and refine designs based on learnings
- Lead and organize designers through pair designing sessions, critiques, and retros
- Communicate design concepts that solve user pain points to a broad group of functional stakeholders
- Lead performance and career development conversations for the design team
- Collaborate with design teams across the global business
- Mentor UX Design team on best practices
- Manage multiple design projects with different stakeholders
- Create strategic design frameworks for new products or within existing product ecosystems
- Allocate resources based on skill, budget, and project needs
- Model our core value of safety by leading and enabling a culture in which you and your team are actively contributing to a safe work environment
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of related experience working on mobile and web products required
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in HCI, Interaction Design, UX Design, Product Design, or a related field; additional experience will be considered in lieu of education
- 4+ years experience in a mentor, supervisor, or leadership role required
- Design portfolio demonstrating application of design principles to solve complex problems required
- Experience designing and managing a design team required
- Experience leading products to products and supporting improvements throughout the product lifecycle required
- Expertise with design software (e.g., Figma and Miro or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in agriculture preferred
- Experience building component libraries such as storybooks (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers using technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Git, React preferred
Please note that if the selected candidate for this opportunity is within a commutable distance to a Corporate office, they would be required to work three days a week from that office location.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $134,160-$184,470 / annually. This range is estimated for the Sr. Manager, UX Design position in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
