Our Operations Real Estate team is looking to hire an analytical, technically skilled, Real Estate Program Manager that can drive innovation and execution in our Europe and North America network.
The scope for this role includes the coordination, governance and visibility of program and project deliverables to ensure that these are delivered to time, cost and specification. In addition to this, the role will be the owner of project management systems used as well as the overall change methodology.
Key job responsibilities
• Working with Program and Project leaders involved in the expansion of our logistics network in Europe and North America.
• Identify and introduce project management systems and workflows that support the efficient running and delivery of the program portfolio
• Provide structured program updates to defined stakeholders highlighting program progress, performance and risk / opportunity
• Provide inputs for regular operational and business planning
• Provide both a mix of support, coaching and challenge to the Program teams in the pursuit of roadmap delivery
• Design and coordinate program governance systems and their respective inputs and outputs
• Provide support and structure to the Real Estate team working on their behalf to support product delivery across cross functional teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis and ability to effectively bring both technical and non-technical teams to consensus
– Experience developing and implementing process improvements to streamline operations
– High proficiency in Excel and in the general Microsoft Office product suite
– Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Industrial Engineering, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Demonstrated experience in Real Estate Transactions, Asset Management, or Lease Administration
– Experience working with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Quicksight. Emphasis on conceptualizing portfolio-dedicated dashboards.
– Data mining experience using SQL or other statistical programing languages
– Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
– Project Management Institute (PMI), Projects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE2), or similar PMO certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
