What You’ll Do

The Social Media Specialist Temp is responsible for supporting Munchkin’s Social Media team in the execution of the Company’s strategic social media marketing programs, initiatives, and goals. Responsibilities will range from assisting with management of social media accounts (i.e. Meta, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Pinterest), community management (consumers and influencers), coordinating events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media and PR team by maintaining social media profiles across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc) including copywriting, posting, reporting and responding to consumers daily, including weekends.

  • Work with PR/Social Media Management to develop & maintain monthly content calendars including social posts and synchronization across all digital channels
  • Work with PR / Social Media Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to curate and manage the global events calendar
  • Support PR/Social Media Management team in composing and responding to regular consumer comments & community dialogue
  • Under the direction of a PR/Social Media Manager, assist with moderating user comments on all social pages under the direction of social media managers
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to find unique ways to promote social media content, initiate on brand sweepstakes, and help fulfill all prizing
  • Work with Brand and Marketing teams to submit creative briefs and schedule all social posts tied to product and company initiatives
  • Analyze online data and create monthly reports including but not limited to, updating the social media tracker, product tracker, award tracker, and other reports
  • Organize, pack and coordinate the shipment of products to influencers and vendors
  • Assist with planning, set up, and execution of company events. Domestic travel may be required.
  • Assist with any additional coordination regarding large upcoming event
  • Other duties as needed

Bring It!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/English/PR/Communications or similar discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in social media for a global brand community management
  • Experience maintaining and growing social audiences across multiple platforms
  • Well-versed in current and emerging social platforms
  • An eye for visual design and ability to capture and curate best-in-class social content
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Strong communication skills and a highly professional manner
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Pay rate: $25-$30/hour

This position will work in our beautiful corporate office 5 days a week.
