The Alliances Organization
As part of the Alliances organization, and our growing team, you will be in a unique position to impact the future direction the company takes. With approximately 40,000 customers worldwide you will have access to a rich user community to help inform your decisions. Qlik is looking for a Global Director of Alliances to manage our strategic alliances, including Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS and Wipro. You should have experience scaling strategic GSI alliances specifically working with these partners, and a proven track record over-achieving targets in an enterprise software sales company. The primary objective is to generate incremental revenue driving awareness, demand and engagement in potential accounts. The person will be responsible for leading Qlik efforts to deepen its executive relationships across partner’s business units, delivery, and solutions teams globally with the goal of driving revenue growth via new joint offerings. This role will be the primary focal point between Qlik and the above-mentioned partners and report to the Head of Global System Integrators.
Ideally, the candidate will be located in North America or Europe. Regardless of location, they will be required to manage the global business plan for these relationships and collaborate/align with the regional & country alliance teams to drive the plan. You will also be responsible for the embedding of Qlik software in service delivery platforms and offerings resulting in a strategic partnership building repeatable business with partners vs aligning teams in the field on a transactional basis.
How you will spend your time as our next Global Director of Alliances
- You are responsible for achieving incremental net new license growth for both sourced and influenced sales revenue targets with our partners globally.
- You are responsible for all aspects of the partnership and are the one point of contact for the partnership within Qlik. To be successful, you will manage a cross-functional network of resources throughout Qlik to provide required support.
- Work with partner practice resources to identify, define, develop and drive solution offering development that provides value to the Qlik field in key vertical and horizontal solution areas. This includes keeping existing offerings up to date and refreshed with the latest Qlik innovations.
- Work with the Qlik regional alliance teams to align partner sales motions, target key accounts, and manage the discrete pipeline with these accounts.
- Drive contribution to Qlik sales throughout all territories
- Manage partner activities as it relates to Contract Administration, Marketing, Enablement, and Go to Market Solutions.
- Manage Partner Investment Funds to support success at key accounts with funds for professional services, support enablement activities that extend our reach through our partners and grow revenue with joint marketing events.
- Build practice capacity to provide the foundation for on-going scalable, sustained channels / partner growth year on-year.
- You may need to travel, up to 30%
You will be considered for the role if you have:
- Experience managing alliances globally.
- Strong understanding of our partners; how they go to market and drive revenue with clients.
- 10 years of recent and working knowledge of system integrators and/or management consulting firms and how they work with clients.
- Recent and working knowledge of our partners in North America and/or Europe with their Ecosystem, Data & AI and/or Applied Intelligence practice.
- A professional network that includes senior contacts and relationships within the partner Ecosystem, Data & AI, Applied Intelligence industry and/or strategic account teams.
- A strong will to succeed and are self- driven and results oriented.
- Natural leadership ability with sharp business development acumen, who strives for excellence.
- Ability to engage, motivate and manage partners.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audience & present the business value aspects of the Qlik proposition.
- Experience crafting joint business models and approaches with system integrators and execute both strategic and tactical business plans.
- The ability to apply strong business acumen and resource management skills in order to meet requirements and set the example for good work procedures.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills.
- A systematic approach and are focused.
- Ability to work comfortably both independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced problem-solving skills allow you to adapt to new circumstances and learn quickly when facing new problems and challenges.
- Ability to develop, build, secure and maintain relationships with key relationships at all levels within a client/collaborator organization.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships across an organization, and work collaboratively without direct reports.
- Demonstrable ability to influence and lead teams in cross-industry collaboration pursuits.

The base salary range for this role is $100,000.00 – 180,000.00
Compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job related skills, education, experience and other business and organizational needs.
