• Estimated annual base pay: $106,200 – $133,500(midpoint)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a IT Program Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The IT Program Manager is accountable for planning, directing, and executing global projects/programs maintaining our enterprise’s world-class level of operation. As a member of the IT Program Management Office (PMO), this position will have high visibility, influence, and responsibility across the entire IT team and the broader business. The IT Program Manager will oversee highly important projects and programs, including the implementation and optimization of critical business applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), engineering applications (PLM, CAD), manufacturing systems, etc. and enhancements to our IT infrastructure, security and support services. This position is an excellent opportunity to make a global impact by delivering the critical IT systems and solutions that power our company’s success.
The ideal candidate will have experience in program/project management and be a fast learner who can quickly gain an understanding of Woodward’s IT strategy, architecture, and organization.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead multiple projects of medium to high complexity and risk.
- Drive relevant project and project status communications; monitor progress through project management reviews.
- Develop effective project plans and ensure that the project objective and outcome is achieved.
- Define an effective Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy for global projects with a large impact to the organization.
- Execute, monitor and control the schedule, cost deliverables, risk management and scope to meet or exceed stakeholder and customer expectations.
- Responsible for allocating resources and management of the project team.
- Works across business to resolve elevated issues within IT and with internal customers, ensuring barriers that could impede program progress are removed.
- Presents and represents project status to internal customer and IT leadership. Accountable for scope change management within the project.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree required (technical field preferred). Master’s Degree (MBA or other) a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired (or willing to obtain).
- Certified Change Practitioner certification or equivalent highly desired (or willing to obtain)
- Certified Scrum Master certification or equivalent highly desired (or willing to obtain).
- 7+ years experience in Project/program management
- Some potential travel, domestically and internationally
