Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CyberArk Technical Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure security team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) concepts, hands-on experience with CyberArk, Centrify or Beyondtrust solutions, managing Windows OS servers and poses above average Linux operating system knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Solution Implementation: Utilize your expertise to design, deploy, and configure CyberArk solutions, including Privileged Account Security, Application Identity Manager, and other relevant modules, tailored to meet our organization’s security requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to both internal teams and external clients. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to CyberArk implementations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Participate in day-to-day operational tasks. (Service requests, Incidents, Patching, etc)
- PAM Architecture Design: Collaborate with cybersecurity architects to define and implement privileged access management architecture best practices, taking into consideration security, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
- System Integration: Integrate CyberArk solutions with other security tools, identity management systems, and IT infrastructure components to create a comprehensive and cohesive security ecosystem.
- Security Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and assessments of privileged accounts, monitor access activity, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including solution designs, configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to empower fellow team members with the skills required to work effectively with CyberArk solutions.
- Emerging Technology Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and advancements in privileged access management, cybersecurity, and related technologies. Apply this knowledge to continuously enhance the organization’s security posture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of privileged access management concepts, with hands-on experience implementing and configuring CyberArk solutions.
- Knowledge of Centrify or Beyondtrust products as well as Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus
- IT Security Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and methodologies, including identity and access management, encryption, authentication, and authorization.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Project Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and priorities.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the evolving landscape of cybersecurity and privileged access management technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 7 years of experience

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,065.99 – $122,326.84 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
