DevSecOps Engineer – Kubernetes – 1001

Job Highlights:

Work as a member of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary Agile team to design, develop, and test software solutions for a team at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

As a DevSecOps Professional, you will be working closely with Release Train Leadership, Agile Teams, and the rest of the System Team to enable rapid delivery of capabilities through a secure Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline to production systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the entire pipeline including source control, continuous integration, automated test, security scanning, artifact storage, and automated deployment/delivery to development, test, and production systems. You will be a key member of the team, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps.

Clearance:

Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Technology Stack:

    • Experience with GitLab, BitBucket, GitHub Enterprise or similar source repository and CI/CD collaboration platform
    • Experience with building/compiling Java, Python or Javascript applications
    • Experience with Nexus or similar artifact repository in air gapped environments
    • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer…

    • Build and Maintain a secure CI/CD pipelines managing deployments across Multiple Domains
    • Establish best practices for source control, build, integration, automated test, security scanning, and delivery of applications
    • Work with Developers and SREs to ensure the end-to-end delivery of solutions
    • Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability
    • Leverage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to automate deployments

Additional Skills We’d Like to See

    • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
    • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II or higher (like Security+) (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
    • Technical background in Software Development or SecDevOps
    • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
    • AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect, etc.)
    • Experience with Security/Software Supply Chain scanning
    • Experience with Automated Test, Static Code Analysis
    • Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar Configuration Management technology
    • Experience with ArgoCD or similar continuous delivery technology
    • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as code tool
    • Experience with Docker or similar container technology
    • Experience with Kubernetes or another container orchestration platform
