Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is looking for a Manager of Product Development focusing on kids sportwear and activewear.
- Develop and execute product designs that achieve overall product strategy and merchandise objectives.
- Participate in research and development of seasonal trends.
- Interpret seasonal fashion direction, assortment opportunities and merchandise trends for area of responsibility.
- Produce cohesive product presentations, including boards, tear sheets and samples to help sell concepts to merchants.
- Prepare line and presentation material for line previews and buys meetings including color boards, concept boards, print and story boards.
- Ensure designs meet merchant line plans, assortment strategies and overall creative direction.
- Shop the trend market seeking design inspiration (materials, fashion, color, and trade).
- Regularly shop the retail markets seeking new merchandise/trend ideas.
- Responsible for creating and distributing fabric development packages.
- Develop flat mechanical sketches for design development packages and request sales samples.
- Select and approve styles, materials, trims and colors that fit into the program and style plans.
- Review development samples.
- Knowledge of fabrics and fabric construction.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- College degree or Bachelor degree in Design
- 5-7 years’ experience in fashion design
- Proficient skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload according to deadlines
- Team player

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate’s educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
