Product Systems Admin II
Pilgrim’s is looking for a Product Systems Admin that reports to Research and Development. This position leads day to day operation and management of data systems. This role supports the development of food products by managing product specifications, product systems and reporting for the department.
Responsibilities:
• Plant Label Systems Management
- Develop strategic plan for label printing systems
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency with plant label systems
- Troubleshooting and supporting plant printing systems across the company
• Work with outside vendors: data systems vendors, label suppliers, label printers, label software.
• Data Systems Report Writer
• Create, edit, change, and publish reports drawing data from across numerous systems according to set parameters.
• Data Systems Report Writer
• Managing, implementing, and monitoring identity, governance, storage, projects and change control across numerous systems and environments.
• Collaborate closely with IT Teams to communicate and document system needs.
• Create and implement test plans for all system changes
• Contribute to implementation of systems
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions
• Available for a rotating on-call schedule for 24 – 7 response.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% – 40%
• Management of employees
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Ability to analyze user needs and architect complete solutions
• Understanding of computer system frameworks
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relational skills
• SAP experience, preferred
• 2 of years’ experience in label systems or product systems, preferred
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range of $63,437 – $85,640
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
