In this role, you will be the product owner of an internally-facing platform that dozens of teams across Amazon leverage. As a successful candidate, you will have a proven track record in managing and delivering large scale products to technical customers. You will be proficient in modern product management practices using design-led approaches powered by research. You will demonstrate business acumen and creativity in envisioning ground-breaking concepts by fostering an environment of experimentation and innovative thinking. You will be effective in building a network across partners and business leaders inside Amazon. Key job responsibilities
Amazon’s Foundational People Data Services team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive experienced Senior Product Manager (Technical) to help define the future of how Amazon scales and supports its global workforce across all phases of the employee lifecycle. As the Senior Product Manager (Technical), you will own the vision and strategy for a product portfolio, you’ll define the roadmap and strategy, and work with a team of Senior and Principal Product Managers, Senior and Principal SDEs, and Leadership to bring your vision to life. Foundational People Data Services is a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization where tackling ambiguity in a collaborative way is essential to personal, team, and customer success.
Product management at Amazon is inherently cross-functional. The right candidate needs to be an owner of their portfolio; making strategic product decisions grounded in data. You will work closely with business teams, leaders, and engineering teams in an agile development environment to launch new features and experiences. Other key responsibilities include monitoring the execution of the project, providing project progress to stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
