Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Senior Program Manager, Supply Chain Expansions will be responsible for managing supply chain initiatives that support Kuiper’s global expansion activity. A successful candidate must have experience managing large scale initiatives, with multiple stakeholders. They must also thrive in a high degree of ambiguity, and working through competing priorities.
This role will be highly collaborative, requiring partnerships with cross-functional leaders to drive positive results. This role requires ability to advocate on behalf of our customers (internal and external) and an ability to push back without being adversarial.
Key job responsibilities
– Work across 10+ teams across Supply Chain, Engineering and Corporate Services to progress project deliverables and manage timelines.
– Work across teams weigh risks, make trade offs, in order to prioritize. You will proactively look around corners to identify challenges or blind spots.
– Work closely with the business to understand pain points in order to better set expectations with stakeholders.
– Own the prioritization and regular reporting mechanisms to proactively communicate progress, accomplishments and risks.

The Global Expansions team is responsible for all country expansion at Project Kuiper. We build the structural operations required for Project Kuiper to conduct business globally, and ensure we operate in compliance with local rules and regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
