The Officer, Compliance and Controls Analyst will be responsible for assisting with compliance assignments and regulatory exams. In this role, it is critical to collaborate with internal personnel across all departments and locations of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Exams and Audits

  • Support for regulatory exams and internal audits
  • Data gathering from CFO, Laserfiche, Charlotte CD

Regulatory Compliance

  • Backup for AARC meeting materials and minutes preparation
  • Vendor risk management
  • Lexis Diligence searches
  • OFAC, FinCEN, 314(a) report review

Internal Controls and Testing

  • Review and approve new account workflows
  • Review and approve closing account workflows
  • Monitor account data for completion and accuracy

Education and Training

  • Backup for review of CFO reject logs

Business Support

  • Monitor and complete necessary business license renewals and filings for all offices

Other duties as assigned

DESIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not essential
  • Industry certification an advantage but not essential
  • Willingness to continue education

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years of professional office work experience
  • Experience with trust accounting systems
  • Superior skills and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • General office administration and clerical experience
  • Aptitude to understand and perform basic mathematical calculations such as fee calculations, and other percentage-based calculations
  • Ability to learn new processes and programs and desire to grow with the company

COMPENSATION

Annual base salary range – $65,000 – $85,000***

*** Salary may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills and experience.
