Responsibilities
In this Marketing specific compliance role you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and advocating for adherence to rules and guidelines on behalf of our agents and department. You will also serve as a resource for any marketing-related compliance queries or concerns. You will play a crucial role in reviewing marketing materials to ensure they meet legal and ethical boundaries. You will partner with internal legal, risk and compliance business areas to safeguard against regulation or policy violations. Strong problem solving skills and an approachable demeanor will serve well in this role. Your ability to communicate, educate and train others on compliance guidelines and best practices efficiently is essential.
- Research and develop agent marketing guidelines and best practices based on opportunities, trends, tool/platform capabilities, and compliance.
- Socialize and improve understanding of marketing guidelines and best practices with multiple agent-facing business areas.
- Serve as the liaison between subject matter experts, vendors, agents, field support and legal teams.
- Serve as internal point of contact for marketing compliance questions, requests, and concerns.
- Facilitate discussions between business areas to address feedback and develop alternative solutions that meet business objectives in a risk-tolerant manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a compliance, marketing, or business capacity.
- Minimum of five years of professional-level marketing or compliance experience.
- In depth functional knowledge of digital and direct marketing.
Potential starting salary range: $71,000 – $90,000
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
