Job Description

The Quality Engineer will provide direct support to the Knolls Laboratory Site through the development of assessments and metrics, support of the assessment program, support of site audits, problem resolution facilitation, as well as backup support for several other programs and processes contained within the Site Support Unit. This will include regular interface with all levels of management within the NNL organization, work between different sites, managing schedules, metric development, and work with SharePoint to manage large scale audits at the Knolls site and as support for other sites. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 2 years of relevant experience; or Currently or previously NPE qualified; or CTE/ACRS and 1 year EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or Watch Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and 1 year as SRE.

Preferred Skills

Experience with creating metrics and reporting, development and maintenance of SharePoint sites, management of change, facilitation, as well as past or present programming skills

Pay Range

$75,300 – $115,300 annually

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
