Summary
The Administrator, Vehicle Logistics position will be expected to gather, construct and monitor data for GLOVIS and its customers. The Administrator will provide support in maintaining and surpassing acceptable quality levels in vehicle processing and transportation. They will conduct studies for the overall port, rail, trucking transportation quality processes, assists in scheduling and executing planned and systematic internal audits and inspections for all rail, truck, ocean loading/unloading shipping. This role is expected to assist in comprehensive analysis of documents, processes and improvements alike.
Responsibilities
- Primary
- Shadow supervisor and develop ability to operate independently carrying out orders in different locations/ramps/ports/yards
- Comprehend, create and curate Power BI reports for customer presentations to include but not limited to damage-free scores
- Study daily transportation damages and support in assigning A3 reports accordingly
- Communicate with supervisor and team members alike the damage trends for a particular customer, dealer, service center, lane, ramp, port, load line, origin and destination ramp and transportation vendors
- Monitor and report findings to include trends, inconsistencies, abnormalities and foresight from VPC & customer Daily Reports
- Identify and monitor issues resolution process and manage escalated items that need higher level attention
- Contact and build relationships with customers and vendors to improve damage-free product distribution nation-wide
- Secondary
- Construct templates for load line audits using standardized audit procedures identical to customer PQE audits and understand audit templates for ocean/inland ports
- Assist in planning Port/VPC, Vendor and Rail Terminal Quality Audits
- Collaborate with Claims department to identify trends, inconsistencies, abnormalities and foresight
- Contact In-Transit Repairs for any damage issues or projects
- Comprehend and reference transportation and handling manuals as well as Standards Of Work
- Other Duties As Assigned

- Monitor all operational reports and logs (PBI, DR, BOL, A3)
Compensation Range
$63,000- $72,000 Annually

Qualifications
Skills
- Must possess great communication, planning, organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
- Must possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with different departments along with current and future customers and vendors
- Self-starter and motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), web navigation, file management, and general PC systems required
- Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Education & Experience
- Associates Degree Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Five (5) year of experience in Customer Service Required
- Experience in Logistics,Transportation, Warehouse, Auto Industry, and/or Customer Service/AssurancePreferred
- OSHA and Six Sigma Certification Preferred
