Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will provide support services to clients which may include staying with children/youth in the Receiving Center, home visits, arranging appointments and transportation, entering data/notes into CYFD System, providing assistance to protective services workers and working on special client-related projects.
How does it get done?
• Assist and support staff in meeting national standards and/or performance based outcomes measures by providing needed supportive services to agency clients. (35%)
• Document activities and information in FACTS as required by agency policy and procedures. (25%)
• Provide administrative and clerical support to agency staff. (25%)
• Identify potential community based services, share information to assist staff and conduct activities that promote safety, permanency and well-being. (15%)
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or Equivalency and three (3) months of experience as a home care worker, management of a home, or experience in providing social or rehabilitative services to clients in the community and/or in an institution. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements
Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results. Must possess and maintain a current and valid Driver’s License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive phone and personal computer usage. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required. Work schedules may differ than the standard 8 – 5 Monday through Friday. Some overtime may also be required on occasion.
