Position Description
Rink Supervisor is a part-time seasonal position responsible for overseeing day to day warming house operations, managing rink attendant staff, and providing onsite support throughout the rink season.

Seasonal Commitment Program: Receive a $200 incentive when you work the entire warming house season. Eligible employees will receive the lump sum payment at the end of the season if they work the entire season, with satisfactory performance and no unexcused absences.
Essential Functions

• Perform onsite visits to warming houses throughout the evenings scheduled
• Provide support to rink attendants and assist with troubleshooting any issues and concerns
• Ensure warming houses are opened and closed as scheduled
• Assist with rink attendant scheduling
• Document any incidents/accidents, maintenance issues, etc.
• Support and/or lead special event activities for youth and families
• Open/close warming houses if needed
• Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all shelter building and skating patrons
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Responsible, organized, and decision-making and leadership skills
• Strong communication
• Courteous, friendly and enjoy interacting with people
• Must be able to work independently

Desired Qualifications:

• Available to work 20-40 hours per week

Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Dec. 26-30 noon-9:30 p.m.
Dec. 31 noon-4 p.m.
Jan. 1 & 2 noon-9:30 p.m.

School Holiday Hours
January 15 noon- 9:30 p.m.
January 19 noon- 9:30 p.m.

Human Resources Orientation Date will be provided at time of interview.
