Overview
This position is responsible for performing janitorial, housekeeping, and event and room set up tasks as directed by the Event Operations Manager and/or Event Operations Supervisor.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.00.

Responsibilities
- Performs janitorial tasks, including restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash removal and other duties as directed by the Event Operations Supervisor or department managers.
- Operates mechanical equipment including scrubbers, floor machines, shampoo machines, and sweepers as needed.
- Assists in bringing problem areas to the attention of the Event Operations Supervisor.
- Assists the Event Operations Supervisor in identifying ways to increase efficiency and productivity within the facility.
- Performs set-ups and breakdowns of meeting rooms/halls respective to tables, chairs, staging requirements as needed by the client.
- Ensures proper care and use of facility equipment and supplies.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent desired.
- Knowledge of basic janitorial and safety procedures, as well as standard public assembly facility standard room set-ups.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of basic janitorial and safety procedures, as well as standard public assembly facility standard rooms’ set-ups.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions from Floor Supervisors.
- Ability to work with detail and efficiency.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
