Content Strategist, B2B Payments & Lending

Amazon Business to Business Payments (B2BP) manages all Amazon and partner-branded payment services such as co-branded business credit cards, business lines of credit, EFT, and seller loans. Our team is continuously innovating and adding new market-leading features to delight our customers. We are looking for a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise developing innovative brand and marketing content and creative.

We’re searching for someone who is a master of their craft, producing clear, compelling messaging strategy and copy for customers across the entire marketing funnel from conversion to awareness. They are enthusiastic problem solvers, delivering new brand experiences for B2BP customers. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer/business objectives, and execute innovative copy and messaging ideas and tests in both on and off Amazon channels. They have strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling and digital media skills, a creative mind, and an acute attention to detail.

This role requires a strong command of grammar and style, as well as desire to create processes that help non-writers easily access and implement accurate messaging. The right candidate must be passionate about writing and editing short- and longer-form copy, proofreading final assets, maintaining style guides and evergreen content-all while upholding a consistent brand voice.

In this role, you will work with members of the creative and marketing teams to create experiences that are engaging, useful, and customer-focused. You will need to apply customer data and insights to tailor your messaging to customer needs and pain points.

Key job responsibilities

– Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, legal, and external partners to assess project needs and develop content, creative, and messaging guides that resonate with audiences.

– Write and bar raise copy for the entire marketing funnel – from email to direct mail to video advertisements.

– Work with design team to concept new creative and campaign approaches and strategies.

– Write, proofread, and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to requests and feedback from various stakeholders and ensure high editorial standards are met

– Produce marketing copy for payment products or services using language designed to motivate and engage customers

– See projects through the whole creative lifecycle, from inception to deployment

– Keep abreast of trends in content and style reflected on various media and marketing channels and editorial sphere

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– A deep passion for the written word

– Experience collaborating with design partners and business stakeholders to bar raise creative

– Excellent communicator who can articulate best practices and grammar and style choices

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple different stakeholders and regulatory requirements

– Excellent business judgment

– Ability to juggle many projects and consistently deliver results despite competing priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience working with vendors

– Experience working in B2B marketing

– Experience developing content within the payments, lending, or financial space

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $137,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
