Executive VIP IT Support Lead

Executive IT VIP Support Lead, End User Services is dedicated to delivering an exceptional technology experience with the highest standards of professionalism for the Executive Leadership team. This role involves managing, monitoring, and analyzing issues to ensure timely resolution. In a fast-paced corporate environment, the position requires providing immediate technical support and proactively seeking innovative solutions to meet the critical needs of our Corporate Executives.

Key Responsibilities:

80% VIP SUPPORT:

Deliver on-demand best in class IT support services including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite and productivity applications, computers, laptops, mobile phones and new technologies.

Provide 24/7 support for J&J senior leaders and serve as a “trusted advisor” and primary IT point of contact to the Executive Committee and VIPs for IT computing inquiries, issues, and or solutions.

Global travel for the purpose of supporting VIPs during offsite meetings in varying locations domestic, international and J&J other offices.

Provide Executive committee home visits to deploy modern technology.

Partner with JJT and Global security performing Network and security assessments for office and/or home setups.

Use latest tools, with elevated privileges, to track, manage, report, and resolve issues or requests.

Act as escalation Point of Contact representing the EC VIPs for EC related computing issues to JJT, External partners or the Business.

Partner with JJT/TS teams to proactively report suspicious activity or trends and work with team until resolution.

Strategically collaborate with internal and external trusted technology partners, multi-functional teams, and key stakeholders to proactively identify IT efficiency improvements and opportunities for our senior leaders.

Ensure provider service level agreements are met and tracked in Service Now to provide metric-driven results.

Ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies.

20% Service Coordination/Collaboration:

Responsible for coordination and partnership across End User Services/Site Services/Service Owners on VIP experiences of JJT products and services such as: PC Health programs, Asset Management/PC Lifecycle Management, Print Services, AV Technology Solutions and Support, Mobility Productivity/ Collaboration and Security & Risk Management.

Partner with Communications teams and provide recommendations and or send modified simplified communications to the Executive committee.

Provide EC Assistant training for new products and services, schedule one on one with EC VIPs and provide simplified instructions.

Actively participate in campus upgrades and modern technology deployments.

Collaborate with JJT Shared Services, suppliers, and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and shape solutions to improve the end user experience.

Apply knowledge of industry standard processes and demonstrate continual learning of integrated technologies through peer-to-peer and self-study.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive technical support experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on role problem-solving with exceptional judgment, expertise, independent work ethic and deep critical thinking skills.
  • Significant knowledge of Cloud, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and cellular technologies.
  • Proficient in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and productivity applications, with deep understanding of the latest Windows and Mac OS computers, laptops, iOS mobile technologies, AV systems, and collaboration platforms such as Teams and Zoom.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity related Risks and threats facing Executives.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and proactively develop and provide solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Maintaining composure, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the J&J leadership hierarchy, reporting structure, and organizational dynamics.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supporting Executive and VIP customer base in a healthcare environment.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL Framework including standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with standard IT tools like ServiceNow, Zscaler or similar VPN technology, MS office suite.
  • Develop organizational knowledge of JJT Service groups and suppliers.

Other:

  • Must be proficient in the English language
  • Travel requirements: approximately 20-30% global travel will be required.
  • Ability to work weekends and “off hours” as needed.
  • This position reports directly to Manager, Site Delivery
  • This role is an individual contributor with no direct reports. However, key leadership qualities are important.

Expected Base Salary $90,000 – $144,900
