Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Data Engineer Intern with Eide Bailly includes real world, hands-on exposure to everything a full-time Data Engineer may do. Working under the tutelage of senior level Data Engineer resources you may:
- Participate in project scoping and solution shaping discussions with business staff
- Work with Enterprise Architects and Information Security staff to design projects
- Develop and maintain the data platform with a variety of underlying technologies
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft Fabric Data Factory (ETL process)
- Microsoft Fabric Synapse Data Engineering
- Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse
- Microsoft Fabric Data Lake/Lakehouse
- Microsoft Azure DevOps & GitHub
- Author documents for a variety of audiences, from executives to end users to IT support staff
- Utilize resource management platforms to forecast and track tasks
Who You Are
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or a related information technology field.
- You enjoy technology-oriented problem solving and think you may want to make a career of it
- You have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- You have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet prioritized deadlines
- You have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.

INTERNS:
We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $21.00-$31.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing.
