Description
Strategic Responsibility:
The Legal and Business Affairs Administrative Assistant/Contracts Clerk elevates the efficiency of the legal department by providing clerical services and other supportive measures for the team. This position involves managing and maintaining files for the Legal and Business Affairs department (electronic and paper), mailing and scanning, data entry, supporting the team’s contract needs, as well as additional duties including administrative assistance as assigned by senior members of the legal department.
Job Description:
Assist the legal department by completing assigned scanning and filing projects.
Assist the legal department with assigned clerical tasks associated with contracts such as data entry and mailouts.
Prepares reports and presentation materials as needed and assigned by senior members of the legal team.
Receives and responds to correspondence sent to legal team, as assigned.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Formal Education: High School Diploma/GED Required. Associate degree preferred. Will except 3+ years experience in legal department in lieu of degree.
Experience: 1-3 years experience in a legal clerical or administrative role.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable with software databases and filing.
Equipment Knowledge: PC Computers. General office equipment.
