The rapidly changing games industry has influenced the latest digital marketing trends and is one of the few industries with the potential to reach 2 billion worldwide. The Amazon Games Team is seeking a talented Paid Media Manager to independently manage global campaigns to drive new player acquisition for our slate of new games and player retention for lapsed players. Evolve your skills driving awareness, maximizing return on ad spend, and optimizing for conversion, by joining a data-driven team obsessed with becoming the most customer centric video game publisher.

Success in this role requires displaying a relentless hands on approach to managing high volume campaigns to meet or exceed goals. You bring a balanced quantitative and qualitative approach to deliver results. You love data and are comfortable working with growth marketers, designers, product managers, and analysts to get things done.

Primary responsibilities include:

– Drive and optimize global marketing campaigns, based on ROAS and LTV, through programmatic ad channels, primarily for Google Properties from Search and Youtube.

– Manage relationship, drive the execution and strategy as well as optimize performance of Gaming Ad Networks.

– Analyze details of marketing channel efficiency: cost, performance, and new opportunities

– Own campaigns from end to end – manage targeting and segmentation, messaging, creative, measurement, and reporting

– Able to effectively communicate with advertising partners to efficiently drive campaign performance

– Implement and monitor A/B and multivariate tests to optimize for conversion and other performance marketing metrics

– Contribute to the ad creative process & drive creative performance learnings

– Troubleshoot campaign and creative issues using debugging tools and working with 3rd party vendors

– Collaborate and build relationships with marketing and advertising teams across Amazon

– Maintain a thorough understanding of the global games market, player acquisition trends, and competitive landscape

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– 3+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
