Job Summary:CTG is seeking a Healthcare Data Extraction Analyst to join an interdisciplinary and cross-functional team and focus on the data extraction/importing tasks necessary to implement a new revenue cycle platform. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential to aligning the new platform with the needs of business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge and proficiency with tools and technologies used to extract data from multiple – possibly siloed – systems and import this data into a center Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- The candidate will work with stakeholders to help in defining, documenting, and implementing the EDW schema as well as integration/ETL pipelines required to transfer data from both legacy and new systems.
- They will work with the implementation team and develop tests to ensure that the data is in the correct format, address any errors or issues that may have occurred, and document the process.
- Data will be extracted from multiple legacy systems, stored in an enterprise data warehouse, and imported into the new platform.
- Once the new platform is live, data will also be extracted out of the new platform and stored in the data warehouse for analysis
Required Skills:
- The candidate must be familiar with SQL, and relational databases such as MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server, ETL pipelines, REST/SOAP APIs, and FTP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for extracting/transforming data as well as experience with git is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as they will be working with stakeholders to ensure their needs are addressed in the new EDW schema and platform.
Preferred Qualification:
Knowledge of hospital-based information systems is preferred. Experience with Cerner Invision, Athena IDX, or other revenue cycle products is a plus. UNIX experience is a plus.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
