About this position:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting processes and the overall closing and consolidation process for all Arrow entities. Ensure that all accounting sub-processes (A/P, Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Expense Accruals, Loans, Deposits, etc.) are well understood, documented and well controlled. Help design and manage the system of internal controls for all of Finance and the broader entity by working with process owners/managers across the organization and Arrow’s Internal Audit function. When necessary, assists with timely and accurate filing of internal and external financial reporting including SEC, NASDAQ and all regulatory reporting. Assist with tax planning strategies.
Responsibilities
>Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations of the organization.
>Responsible party for ensuring that all accounting sub-processes are accurately reflected in the GL.
>Design and implement efficient accounting processes within and outside of Finance to limit manual journal entries to GL.
>Oversees accounting operations including accounts payable, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals and general ledger maintenance.
>Research complex accounting transactions and understands/traces transactions through core accounting system.
>Understand intercompany transactions.
>Ability to document /monitor the interaction of general ledger with subsidiary modules and integrated software.
>Assist with filing quarterly and annual Security & Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory reports including: Form 4s, 8-K, 10-K/10-Q including Statements, MD&A, Footnotes, and Overview – Risks, S-3, S-1, Proxy, Call Reports, HUD Reports, and OCC/FDIC reporting.
>Prepare, review, and maintain supporting documentation for regulatory and financial reports; prepare financial statements, board reports and cash flow statements.

Education/Certifications:
> Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
> Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
> 10 years of experience in an SEC registrant financial institution accounting department or with a Certified Public Accounting firm required,experience in banking industry preferred.
> 5 years supervisory experience preferred
Skills/Knowledge:
> Detail oriented, extremely organized, ability to prioritize and above average time management skills to achieve objectives
> Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage large and complex data sets
> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook; advanced Excel knowledge, general ledger applications and experience with complex software applications
> Proficient in or able to learn other software applications, including Fixed Assets, Stock Options, A2i, Adobe Professional, and XBRL
> Strong ability to understand intricacies of complex software applications/financial transactions
> Flexibility to work extra hours to meet critical deadlines
Physical Demands
> Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and some brief periods of walking/standing
> Repetitive use of telephone, computer, computer mouse, and keyboard
> Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $150,000 commensurate with experience and education.
Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s profit-sharing bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
