As a Director, Business Management and Executive Communication, you will support the Chief of Staff for Xbox Game Studios and the Xbox Game Studios Leadership Team as they set the strategic direction for our first party studios, drive performance and establish a diverse and inclusive culture. As the Director, Business Management and Executive Communication, you will be responsible for driving the success of the studio system by creating a culture of trust and respect, developing relationships between all levels of the organization, and leveraging knowledge of the organization’s culture, goals, and business approach. You will also help architect and run the Leadership Team and Extended Leadership Team rhythm of business, create alignment within partnerships, manage an information and knowledge sharing platform, assist in drafting executive communications, and drive cross-team projects. Additionally, you will leverage, manage, and identify business tools that support operations, ensuring that all voices are heard and that business activities are aligned with the leader’s objectives.
Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating across stakeholders, executive leaders and teams.
- Project management skills and able to lead multiple high-profile projects forward and effectively leverage available resources to drive results.
- Ability to contribute across multiple workstreams in a high-paced, fast-changing work environment.
- Ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately.
Business Management IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 – $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 – $292,200 per year.
