The Athletic Coordinator reports directly to the Sports Manager and provides oversight of various athletic programs with an emphasis on hockey programs.
SUPERVISION
The Athletic Coordinator reports directly to the Sports Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF WORK

The Athletic Coordinator reports directly to the Sports Manager and provides oversight of various athletic programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning, implementing, and leading a variety of sports related activities.
On-site person who serves as a liaison between participants, parents and the recreation office.
Responsible for set up and tear down of all classes.
Responsible for maintaining proper equipment and making sure enough equipment is available.
Tracking attendance of participants.
Updating participants, parents and the recreation office of any cancelation or changes.
Evaluate program and make recommendations.
Complete reports in a timely manner.
Updates scores and standings.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF WORK
Minimum one year of college pursuing a degree in parks and recreation, physical education or related field or one year related work experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
First aid and CPR certified.
RETIREMENT PENSION
The City contributes 14% monthly toward retirement benefits offered through the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System. The employee pension payment share is 10% of gross salary.
Personal Leave
Eligible for 24 hours of personal leave if more than 500 hours worked in previous calendar year.
Eligible for 40 hours of personal leave if more than 1000 worked in previous calendar year.
