Insight Global is looking for an NVH Technician to join the NVH team, you will play a critical role in the development of industry-leading products. You will help bring the electric vehicle products we design to life and ensure their acoustic integrity. You will work side-by-side with fellow NVH staff and other engineering teams to solve the toughest challenges in the industry and deliver world-class performance. The ideal candidate will operate dynos, execute test scripts as well as identify issues with tests, have familiarity with FW flashing modules, CAN bus, and Fault detections. This candidate will also conduct vehicle, drive unit testing, and operate vehicle on test track and identify NVH concerns. They will also provide general vehicle and powertrain fault diagnosis.
Required Skills & Experience
* 1-5 years of experience working in a technical field involving instrumentation for NVH or durability or similar.
* Basic understanding of vehicle or motor/gearbox NVH.
* Basic understanding of vehicle instrumentation, CAN communication
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Excellent knowledge of motor or gearbox operation; knowledge of electric vehicle architecture a strong plus.
* Experience with the following software is desirable but not required — Siemens TestLab, NI VeriStand .
* Experience working in a dyno lab, working with dynamometers OR with powertrain.
