We are looking for a Design Operations Project Manager who enjoys collaborating and bringing together, business processes, as well as furthering our people-related programs to shape the next evolution of our Microsoft Security UX operations team. This position will support both the Identity and Access Network UX and UX Research team leaders work ing alongside the Microsoft Security UX Chief of Staff, Executive Business Admin, Finance and Business Partners . You will have the opportunity to create works flow management processes, communications, org anization wide learning initiatives .
Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred, Qualifications:
- E xperience developing, delivering , promoting , assessing, and continually improving programs for an organization.
- Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions quickly .
- Ability to drive large, complex programs and solutions .
- Domain knowledge in Security.
Business Program Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 – $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 – $195,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to develop and improve programs and define program strategy and create project plans.
- Build, design, and drive capacity planning procedures for both UX Research and I dentity and Network Access (IDNA ) UX.
- W ork with cross-functional stakeholders to design programs from initiation to delivery.
- Define and t r ack success criteria and performance metrics.
- Define and execute a landing and communication plan, leading the rhythm of business during execution.
- Promote the program and gain buy-in from stakeholders and partners.
- Communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders to follow the schedule. YCollaborate with other teams to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.
- D rive rhythm of business to improve the R esearch U X and IDNA UX team’s processes to increase and ensure efficiency, communication, and performance across the team, including managing a calendar of activities and planning milestones, helping the team schedule learning trainings and brownbag sessions , as well as establishing and driving processes for team-internal communication and stakeholders communication (e.g., email templates, newsletter, team SharePoint site).
- C ollaborate with the IDNA UX and R esearch UX team lead s to manage the budget for research tools and projects.
- H elp develop processes for research synthesis and facilitate knowledge sharing as well as assist in improving impact tracking.
- Enable the research team to enhance participant recruiting by optimizing existing recruiting pipelines for our specialist roles as well as developing new participant recruiting opportunities.
- Budge t planning, forecasting, and tracking in collaboration with Leadership and Chief of Staff.
