Principle Product Manager – Tech, Ring App, Ring

We are seeking a Principle Product Manager – Tech, Ring App to drive the vision and roadmap for key features within Ring applications. In this role you will you will define, execute, and deliver seamless customer experiences across Ring applications, connecting the customer journey across website, apps, and device experiences. This role is inherently cross-functional – you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Program Management, Design, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, and PR to envision, develop, and launch innovative products and services.

A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy, with a proven track record of creating successful, technically complex consumer products and services.

Key job responsibilities

– Lead the development of the product vision, strategy and roadmaps for your product area

– Collaborate with Engineering to develop detailed product and service requirements, across business and technical use cases, used to create product specifications and architecture

– Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, profitability, and operational support load

– Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning

– Lead cross-functional work streams with teams including Product, Engineering, Program Management, Design, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, and PR to deliver features on time and in full

– Identify and track key performance indicators, work towards optimizing KPIs, and communicate progress effectively to senior leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 8+ years of end to end product delivery experience

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

– Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop product business cases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

– Master’s degree or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
