It helps builders uncover the unknown by scientifically measuring customer experience at all stages of their journey within Ads self-serve and making it easily accessible.
As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will guide both strategy and tactical decision-making to deliver Advertising Recommendations Effectiveness program. You will partner with teams across Ads to help support the strategic deliverables while working with engineering to support important technical efforts. You will foster a data-driven culture that facilitates collaboration and accelerates innovation that drives a multibillion-dollar business and interacts with diverse stakeholders across our advertising business, including engineers, scientists, product managers, and senior leaders. You will deliver crisp messages, drive timely feature launches, and work to deliver to meet timelines with optimal solutions to complex problems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 7+ years of technical program management experience
– 5+ years of software development experience
– Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
