Fantastic opportunity for a Software Application Development Engineer who will work to design, develop, qualify, and maintain new software applications in a team-based environment utilizing the Agile development process. MUST HAVE refactoring and unit testing experience.
Volt is immediately hiring a Software Application Development Engineer in San Diego, CA.
As a Software Application Development Engineer you will:
• Develop software solutions to solve enterprise problem statements
• Evaluate and implement solutions to enable robust, efficient, and secure software performance
• Actively participate in detailed code review before feature release
• Refactor Pre-production code for optimization and unit testing
• Develop and troubleshoot code
• Select and configure computer hardware for testing and image builds
This is a full time, contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Object Oriented Programming Experience
- BS in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in C++/C#
- Secure Web Development (Back-end and Front-End)
- Node.js, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript
- Solid programming background
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, network programming, secure programming, and microservices
Pay rate: $30/hour -$40/hour
