Job Summary
The Manager of Portfolio Production performs responsibilities and leads resources engaged in the release and publishing of educational offerings at NetApp. A minimum of 7 years of management and subject matter experience is required. Proficiency Areas: Agile, Llama, PMBOK, ADDIE, Xyleme, Articulate, Premiere Pro, Principles of instructional design, Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Manage the process of deploying global web-based enablement at NetApp in Saba and Mindtickle (400+ web-based courses deployed each year) from storyboard and narration script into polished delivery formats that include complex animations, knowledge-checks, and live or generated audio, in Articulate Storyline.
- Direct the production of custom assessments for accreditation, certificate, and certification outcomes.
- Administer the publication and release of Instructor-led content through quality assurance and facilitation of third-party vendor for proofing, mastering, printing, and archiving.
- Manage production team workload and vendor resources, setting priorities, allocating resources, and overcoming challenges to ensure timely delivery of instructor-led and web-based learning content.
- Oversee the team’s participation in the Xyleme (LCMS) production process.
- Partner with systems and support teams on tickets associated with web-based courses and LMS release processes.
- Oversee occasional editing and production of video content as stand-alone learning objects or incorporation into web-based courses.
- Lead testing and quality assurance efforts for the production function through release and response to defect requests.
- Facilitate localization efforts for content with release intentions in multiple global audiences.
- Establish and continuously refine strategy on how the production function optimizes and serves stakeholders.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $125,970 – $133,380. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
