Insight Global is looking to hire a R&D Mainframe Software Engineer for a leading software client in the DFW area. You will be responsible for working within a scrum team in an agile development environment, design and code in HLASM, participate in design and code reviews as well as test plan reviews. You will research and develop innovative new solutions and develop automated test scripts to deliver high quality software solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
* BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
* Prior experience as a developer in a Scrum team.
* Expertise with IPCS, TSO, SMPE, HLASM
Expertise with unit testing frameworks.
