The Project Controls, Senior Analyst (PCA) is primarily responsible for working with the Project Manager and ENGIE FGBU North Americas’ Finance Business Partner to properly plan, monitor, and control BESS projects throughout their lifecycle. The PCA is primarily responsible for cost estimating, cost tracking and control, risk analysis, and reporting for the assigned projects.
This position can sit in Houston and will report to the Flexible Generation Finance Business Partner.

What you’ll do:
- Working with the Project Manager to properly plan a project utilizing an appropriate project management software (Primavera, Microsoft Project)
- Working with the project team to develop cost estimates for key tasks and equipment using accepted AACE methodologies and classes
- Working with the project team to ensure that all key performance data (physical progress, commitments, costs, safety) are properly collected and reported
- Working with the project team to track progress against the project baseline budget
- Assisting the Project Manager in forecasting project outcomes, maintaining the project’s risk register, and updating/revising the project’s budget
What you bring:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related role or performing excel based analysis
- Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, business or engineering is required.
- AACE and/or PMI certifications (Certified Cost Technician, Certified Cost Professional, PMP) are a plus
- The ability to summarize and communicate risks, and offer well considered feedback on the sufficiency of cost.
- Strong analytic and presentational skills related to reporting and analysis of schedules and costs, using appropriate earned value techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for coordination with a multi discipline team including specialists in engineering, procurement, contracts, and operation
- A working knowledge of contracts and the ability to recognize and analyze cost and risk implications of various contract termsrket is a valuable plus

- Salary Range: $75,915 – $126,525 USD/CAD, annually
- Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
- In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan
