Job Description

As the Marketing Analytics Director, you will inform new and improved marketing approaches and future testing opportunities for new high priority platforms (primarily our client’s soon-to-launch browser-based retailer savings program, but also a recently launched booking platform) through tracking and analysis of emails and digital placements, and competitive intelligence and client learnings. Additionally, you will partner with our vendor to build additional online dashboard capabilities to enhance the browser-based retailer savings program from its initial state, including scoping out the addition of Merchant Offers to the program Dashboard, to maximize marketing impact while optimizing capacity in delivery channels.

You will partner with Analytics, Marketing, and Product teams and a variety of other stakeholders and business areas, including digital and operations teams, to ensure integrity of the tracking data to provide views into the customer experience and actions, and turning that data into actionable insights. This is a remote position, reporting to Vice President, Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insights into the customer’s online behavior for the soon-to-launch browser-based retailer savings program and the recently launched booking platform, from initially setting up tracking tags (in Pega and/or Adobe Site Catalyst), synthesizing the data (in Tableau and/or Excel), and making recommendations on new and better marketing approaches
  • Partner with Analytics team to layer additional data (customer profiles, sales, revenue) on top of the marketing funnel data to provide a holistic picture of which customers should see which offers and in which channels/placements
  • Regularly monitor for abnormalities in the data that could indicate breaks in the functionality or customer flow
  • Optimize digital engagement to improve results and improve the customer experience based on results and best practices
  • Explore and understand potential new dashboard capabilities, from either competitive analysis or through conversations with our vendor, and help to rationalize which will provide the best return on investment/effort for our client
  • Work across diverse teams, such as:
    • Product and Marketing Strategy team
    • Digital Channel team and Operations
    • Marketing Analytics partner to report campaign results and campaign optimization recommendations

Qualifications

  • Track record in digital marketing with 5-10 years of experience required
  • Experience with digital marketing analysis (e.g., Tableau or other)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Team player who is comfortable with changing opportunities and priorities
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constant improvement
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • Specific experience in financial services including debit or credit marketing experience is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
