Overview

As a Portfolio Product Manager, POC Informatics youwill be responsible for meeting the business objectives for the assignedInformatics portfolio elements. This position represents the market andcustomer needs in order to ensure a successful product road map in line withdefined business objectives. The Product Manager, Informatics works directlywith the country Marketing and Sales leads as well as Lead Product Managersacross the POC portfolio. You will manage portfolio strategic activities forthe Informatics portfolio globally and will be responsible for the successfulmigration to the next generation informatics products.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Support the Director Product Manager onstrategy formulation, new product requirements and new business opportunities.
  • Deliver and execute the Informaticsportfolio roadmap strategy.
  • Bring new and existing products tomarket, ensure successful collaboration with third party suppliers, and supportthe successful introduction of the informatics next generation product.
  • Implement global life cycle managementstrategy for the Informatics portfolio.
  • Work closely with and collaborate withthe device portfolio team to define future strategies.
  • Align and communicate portfolio productobjectives with regions and countries, and interact with all members of the BAfunctions, Marketing/Sales/Customer Services.
  • Develop the assigned portfolio in linewith the defined business strategy to unlock new revenue streams with the inputfrom internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use domain knowledge to anticipatemarket trends and demands and developing requirements as part of new businessproposals for product/portfolio strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the customer advisorypanel, key opinion leaders, and end-users to understand future productrequirements.
  • Relationship development with customersand country sales and marketing leads is required to clearly understandcustomer needs and translate those into product requirements.
  • Active engagement with R&D tosupport the informatics portfolio is critical to the success of this role.
  • Strategizing to ensure beneficialcollaboration with 3 party suppliers.

RequiredEducation, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health sciences,technical or related discipline required; MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of successful experience inproduct management/development, clinical sales, or IT with a ClinicalHealthcare background (at least one required, more preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonalskills required for successful interaction with members of all Business Areafunctions
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teamsto execute successful delivery of new and existing products
  • Demonstrated domain knowledge andexperience in healthcare diagnostics preferred, helping customers with bestpractices and a passion for continually improving the customer experience
  • Demonstrated experience in understandingcustomer needs and solution consulting.
  • Exceptional presentation andcommunication skills
  • Skilled at aligning business leaders andmanaging shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

The pay range for this position is $129,984 – $178,728 annually;however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
