Responsibilities
Enterprise Technology (ET) is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Life Accounting, Tax, and Reserves product team. You will work closely with business partners to develop, test, implement, and support creative solutions for State Farms Life company operations which entails support for over 8 million policies in force.
The team is an agile team that owns and supports State Farms Life company processing of accounting transactions, income tax and premium tax reporting at both the state and federal levels, and the reserving process of the Life company policies.
This work includes the processing of data necessary to file various returns with regulatory bodies and servicing transactions needed for the insured or policyowner.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidates will have 3+ years’ experience with the following:
- Assembler
- Cobol
- SAS
- AWS Services_

Compensation range: $85,460- $159,000 based on skills and qualifications.
For Los Angeles candidates: Pursuant to the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories.
For San Francisco candidates: Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
For NY(state), CT, CA candidates:
Potential salary range: $85,460.00- $198,750.00
Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 12% of base salary
For Colorado and Washington (state) candidates:
Compensation Range: $85,460.00-$174,900.00
Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 12% of base salary
