At the present time, a vacancy for a Driver’s Education Instructor exists within the Communications and Learning Solutions division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. There are two positions open. One Instructor will service the students in Downingtown and surronding areas. The second instructor will service the Southern Chester County/West Grove area, based on client needs.

Qualifications:
- Certification in any of these areas preferred: Safety/Driver Education; Driver Ed – Safe Living; Driver Education; Highway Safety and General Safety Education.
- Must have PA Driver’s License with no moving violations for previous three (3) years.
- Current FBI, PA State Police and Child Abuse Clearance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach students to effectively drive a motor vehicle in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Regulations and Pennsylvania’s Department of Transportation, using both off-street instruction as well as on-street instruction, using a varied driving environment. Responsible to schedule students for lessons and act as a liaison between students, parents, schools and driver’s ed office.
Salary Range:
$23.64 per hour/approximately 15 hours per week
Hours:
Schedule varries – after school, evenings, and weekends.
